ERP Consultant Location: Remote – Client in Cincinnati, OH area Engagement Length: Approx. 400 hours total (~20 hours/week) Start Date: Immediate About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced ERP Consultant to support a strategic initiative evaluating and potentially transitioning from a homegrown billing system to a new ERP platform. They need to understand their workflows and best options as they already utilize NetSuite as their primary ERP. This is a high-impact, part-time consulting engagement (~400 hours total) designed to assess, define, and guide the future of the company’s financial systems. You will work closely with the company’s Controller and a lean PMO (1 person) to document current state processes, gather and validate requirements, and help design the target-state architecture. The ideal candidate will offer guidance on system selection, ERP design, and data architecture, and contribute to decision-making on whether to adopt NetSuite Billing or upgrade the existing system. Key Responsibilities: • Document current-state billing and accounting processes and systems • Identify gaps, gather requirements, and define future-state design • Advise on ERP system selection (e.g., NetSuite) and help craft an implementation roadmap • Evaluate potential RFP or re-engagement processes based on final decision • Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic decisions and recommend integration options • Support the build-out of a future ERP implementation team if selected • Provide tactical and strategic input throughout selection and transition phases Ideal Candidate Profile: • Proven experience in ERP consulting, selection, and implementation • Strong knowledge of NetSuite, especially in billing and accounting modules • Background in accounting/finance processes and systems architecture • Demonstrated ability to lead ERP evaluations, guide RFP processes, and manage stakeholders • Previous experience working with lean teams and guiding executive decision-makers • Comfortable with part “come & go” consulting engagement models Engagement Details: • Approx. 20 hours/week (flexible based on project needs) • Expected total engagement: ~400 hours • Remote role; occasional meetings with the internal team if needed in Cincinnati • Opportunity to re-engage for full ERP implementation support depending on outcomes
