Responsibilities • Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. • Greet customers warmly, take orders, and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience. • Handle cash transactions with accuracy, manage cash handling procedures, and balance registers at shift end. • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards. • Assist with food handling tasks including wrapping, packaging, and restocking supplies as needed. • Support team members by bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Experience • Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude! • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances your ability to serve efficiently. • Experience in cashiering or retail math helps in managing transactions accurately. • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus. • Strong time management skills are essential to keep up with high-volume service periods. • Previous restaurant or café experience can provide a solid foundation for success in this role.
