Job Duties: Utilizing engineering background, provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical customer support including implementation, training, and maintenance support for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property (IP). Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support. Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments. Identify resale opportunities and support them to achieve sales plans. Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs. Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers. Maintain sales forecasting reports. Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers. Research and identify potential customers for products or services. Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery. Develop sales plans to introduce products in new markets. Attend trade shows and seminars to promote products or to learn about industry developments. Attend company training seminars to become familiar with product lines. Arrange for demonstrations or trial installations of equipment. Train team members in the customer applications of technologies. Sell products requiring extensive technical expertise and support for installation. Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment. Diagnose problems with installed equipment. Write technical documentation for products. Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations and thermal analyses using advanced Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools, including ANSA and META, to solve complex engineering problems. Collaborate with automotive, defense, and aerospace engineering teams to develop and optimize solutions for performance and efficiency. Develop and deliver CAE/Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modeling process solutions to customer specifications for custom applications to enhance current ANSA Software functionality. Provide support for user CFD problems/questions in all related software issues. Conduct customer CFD training sessions on site at different client locations with the U.S.-Canada and Mexico territory. Participate in global technical meetings and contribute to the core developments of the FEA software. Mentor and train CFD to CAE engineers and interns with the team. Act as a liaison and work with cross-functional team to gather project requirements. Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI). Identify need for initial or supplemental project resources. Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies. Some telecommuting permitted. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States and internationally. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation or research. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD), thermal analysis, and thermodynamic modeling to optimize vehicle performance Thermal performance analysis of battery in electric vehicles Real-Time approach for thermal comfort management in electric vehicles Co-simulation of a battery electric vehicle thermal management system with focus on advanced simulation methodologies Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) simulation Utilize META for post-processing CFD results and visualization CFD and thermal optimization using ANSA software ANSA CFD AutoSeal for fast and easy Computer-Aided Design (CAD) preparation Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States and internationally.
