Handle incoming calls, process paper bills and exceptions, communicate with clients and providers, and maintain quality and metrics in bill processing.
Minimum 2 years customer service experience, familiarity with medical terminology and workers compensation preferred, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work remotely.
Scope of Position Responsibilities include taking incoming calls and working in various queues to include processing new bills, Paper Bill Errors, Exceptions in D360, communicating with Clients and providers status of payment, and more. Ability to clearly communicate with both internal teams and external customers. Focus on maintaining positive customer experiences by ensuring clear, accurate and timely paper bill processing. Essential Job Functions · Service customers over the phone by understanding the nature of the call and problem solving by resolving any concerns. · Work in designated queues to include Paper bill queue, and the d360 exception queue clearing all bill rejections. · Processing reconsideration bills including Fee reviews per state fee schedules. · Recognize and log roadblocks when bill has encountered a processing error or requires manual intervention · Consistently meet required metrics while maintaining quality standards. · Adhere to all policies and procedures. · Other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications – Education, Training, and/or Experience Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Education: HS diploma or equivalent. · Experience: Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in any field. Prior knowledge of pharmacy, medical terminology, workers compensation and the use of common medications preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products specifically Word, Excel and Outlook preferred. · Background Check Required: YES Competencies Must have excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, excellent follow-through abilities and the ability to coordinate several items simultaneously; exercise considerable discretion, maintain confidentiality and practice independent judgment; work as a team player in conjunction with all areas of the organization.
