We are seeking a Sr Business Manager, Special Markets – Eastern U.S., specializing in unattended retail with a focus on operators that pull Vistar and similar Vend distributors. This leader will be responsible for managing and growing business across the Eastern U.S. within the unattended retail space, including vending and micro markets. The candidate will spearhead CA Sales execution across a diverse and strategically vital array of non-traditional retail channels, with a concentration on accounts and opportunities based in the Eastern U.S. Key Responsibilities Lead business development across unattended retail (vending, micro markets) within the Eastern region, while also supporting other channels such as theater, discounters, home hardware, and travel. Manage and strengthen customer relationships within the region. Develop and execute tailored strategies based on shopper insights and regional opportunities. Drive execution against distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing priorities. Lead regional customer business reviews, Top-to-Top meetings, and long-range planning to expand CA’s footprint. Who We’re Looking For Experience in Customer Development, Sales Strategy, or Channel Management within the CPG industry. Demonstrated success managing complex or non-traditional retail accounts and driving white space growth. Background in relevant channels (e.g., Vending, Foodservice, Theater, Value/Discount, Hardware, or Travel Retail). Experience dealing with Vistar HQ is a strong plus. Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and alignment skills with internal and external partners. Bachelor’s degree required.
