Job Description: • Drive strategic growth in commercial markets by identifying, shaping, and securing new business opportunities. • Blend industry-standard sales/account methodologies with collaborative team engagement. • Ensure high-quality pursuits and sustainable wins in the commercial sector. • Advance go-to-market by building executable sales strategies and account plans. • Develop relationships with key commercial clients and partners. • Manage solution and channel partnerships. • Conduct detailed opportunity assessments and provide expert guidance on best practices. • Hitting revenue targets through strong selling, clarity in sales processes, and accuracy in forecasting. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to transform opportunities across the Lead to Contract lifecycle. Requirements: • Bachelors degree (Business, Engineering, or related); Masters preferred. • 10+ years in commercial accounts/business development, ideally in relevant industries (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain, technology, consulting). • Deep understanding of commercial contracting, sales/account cycles, procurement processes, and industry-specific regulations. • Sales/ Account Management certification or equivalent training/experience preferred. • Strong understanding of sales/account management principles and customer relationship management within the commercial sector. • Ability and willingness to quickly and efficiently step into other areas of support within the growth organization. • Ability to quickly interpret opportunities and identify if it is worth the level of effort to pursue or not. • Customer-focused: understands client needs and works to provide the best solutions. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to collaborate effectively to achieve a common goal. • Ability to adapt and adjust strategies based on changing market conditions and client feedback. • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
