Job Requisition No VN8287 Work Location Name USA - Remote Worker Basis Full Time Worker Type Employee Applications Close Date Oct 31, 2025 Purpose The US Marketing Manager – Posterior Segment will lead downstream marketing efforts across BVI’s retina (VR) portfolio, including surgical instruments, tamponade gases, vitrectomy equipment, and dual-use cataract platforms supporting complex VR cases. This role will focus on commercializing new retina technologies that deliver an end-to-end portfolio, developing surgeon-facing campaigns, and building podium presence at key retina congresses. The position requires deep collaboration with Sales, Global Product Marketing, KOLs, and Clinical to ensure effective market development, positioning, and training. The ideal candidate will bring strong executional discipline, enterprise mindset and passion for elevating BVI’s role in retina innovation. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role suited for a commercially driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is passionate about delivering innovation that meets the surgical and workflow demands. Key Responsibilities • Lead US retina marketing strategy and tactical execution across customer journey • Support Equipment launches in partnership with global teams • Adapt competitive messaging to strengthen BVI’s commercial positioning • Plan BVI presence at key US retina congresses and symposia in collaboration with BVI KOL management and events teams. • Collaborate with Global Product Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of US market strategies. • Monitor sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to drive data-informed adjustments and reporting. • Manage marketing budget and oversee effective resource allocation to priority initiatives. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Strong understanding of the retina surgical landscape, including familiarity with the procedure pathway, technologies, and customer segments. • Proven success in downstream or regional marketing, ideally within medical devices or ophthalmology. • Strategic thinker with strong project management and executional discipline. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels. • High degree of initiative, ownership, and comfort operating independently in a matrixed environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with data and performance metrics. Ability to build strong relationships with Sales teams, retina specialists, and cross-functional partners. Qualification • Bachelor’s degree • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in healthcare marketing, product launch experience, and at least 2 years in downstream or product marketing roles. • Experience in surgical ophthalmology. Retina experience is strongly preferred. • Successful track record of leading product launches and commercial programs in the US market. • Willingness to travel domestically (up to 25%) to support field meetings, congresses, and customer engagement.
