Role Overview We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Database Analyst to support our data integration team on a contract basis. The analyst will be responsible for performing ETL processes on client first-party data and ensuring accurate, efficient loading into our standardized database environment. This role requires strong SQL Server expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet project timelines. Applicants for employment in the U.S. must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Buxton (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status). Key Responsibilities Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes on client first-party data Load, validate, and maintain data in standardized SQL Server databases. Develop and optimize queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the process. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner. Document processes and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and ETL development. Hands-on experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools. Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and performance optimization. Experience working with large datasets and complex data integration tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Must be based in the United States (Dallas–Fort Worth preferred). Department: Analytics Location: U.S.-based Remote (Preferred: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX with ability to work onsite in our Fort Worth office up to 2 days per week) Contract Rate: Up to $55/hour Contract Term: 30-40 hours per week, 3 months
