Job Description The Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) plays a critical role in advancing the adoption and effective use of Butterfly's solutions across diverse clinical settings. The CAS will partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to deliver an extraordinary customer experience, driving adoption of Butterfly’s point of care ultrasound solutions across clinical specialties. This role combines strong clinical knowledge with a customer focused, sales acumen mindset and requires significant travel to support customers and our internal teams through demonstrations, training and ongoing education. Support the sales process by highlighting clinically relevant product features and clinical applications during demonstrations, in person and virtually. Deliver engaging in-person and virtual in services tailored to customer and speciality needs. Partner with customer success and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and an exceptional customer journey Build strong relationships within the customer base through regular touchpoints and clinical support Generate high quality sales leads during customer engagements by identifying opportunities aligned with clinical and organisational needs Accurately document all customer interactions, education sessions and activities in required systems (CRM, reporting tools, etc.) Provide expert guidance to customers and internal teams, serving as a trusted clinical resource Collaborate with cross functional teams to share customer feedback and support continuous product improvement Represent Butterfly as a clinical expert at industry events, workshops and conferences to build brand presence and credibility Qualifications Baseline skills/experiences/attributes: RDMS, RVT or RDCS certification - current registration Must have at least 3 years experience working as a sonographer in a clinical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Willingness to travel extensively 75+% (typically 4 days per week including overnights and some weekends) Deep understanding of delivering clinical education and complex information modified to meet the needs of the audience Ability to conduct engaging training virtually and in person Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!): Experience with teaching clinicians point of care ultrasound Ultrasound industry experience in a previous CAS or sales role Values Innovation is what we do. Compensation Our estimated salary for this role is between $100,000 - $115,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
