The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following: • Conceptualize unique and complex vertical lifting solutions and create detailed mechanical product designs using 3D CADD software • Apply expertise in structural steel design, hydraulics, and power transmission to develop practical and effective solutions • Conduct mechanical analysis, including FEA and dynamic analysis, to ensure designs meet all customer and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with a small project group to contribute innovative ideas and technical expertise for complex projects • Convert verbal and written customer information into precise, high-quality engineering drawings and models The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position: • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field • 3+ years of mechanical design experience in a fabrication, heavy equipment, or related manufacturing environment • 3+ years of experience with SolidWorks, FEA, and dynamic analysis software • 2+ years of experience utilizing PDM and ERP systems • A strong understanding of hydraulic power systems, structural steel design, and mechanical power transmission • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment • A solid work history • A US citizen or possess a green card
