10+ years of commercial construction project management experience, bachelor's degree in construction-related field, proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, physical ability to work on construction sites, and knowledge of OSHA and safety standards.
The Project Manager III will be responsible for leading complex projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders. Oversees project scope, timelines, budgets, and communications to ensure successful execution. Regularly reports project status to senior leadership and may manage multiple concurrent projects or one large-scale initiative. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, organizational agility, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Project Oversight: Manage multiple complex projects or one large-scale initiative from planning to delivery. • Team Leadership: Mentor project teams, support staff development, and promote knowledge sharing. • Reporting & Risk Management: Provide high-level updates to leadership, identify risks early, and implement mitigation plans. • Preconstruction Support: Participate in preconstruction meetings and assist with bid tab development. • Client & Business Development: Build client relationships, support BD efforts, and identify new project opportunities. • Contract Administration: Manage prime contracts, billing, receivables, and subcontractor coordination. • Financial Management: Forecast costs, manage change orders, and utilize Procore for financial tracking. • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, track delays, and support field execution. • Procurement: Lead buyout process, ensure timely submittals, and maintain procurement logs. • Quality Control: Support QC meetings, inspections, and resolve scope or schedule issues. • Safety Compliance: Enforce company safety policies in collaboration with safety teams. • Client Satisfaction: Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to expected quality standards. • Talent Development: Train and mentor staff, promote accountability, and foster a respectful team culture. Education/Experience Required: • 10+ years of construction project management experience on commercial construction projects • Bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management, or similar Skills/Abilities Required: • Flexible schedule, including weekends. • Willing to travel and relocate based on project needs. • Comfortable working in all outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.). • Able to navigate job sites (stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes). • Physically capable of kneeling, standing, squatting, and bending. • Strong interpersonal skills across all levels, including clients and subcontractors. • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (Procore preferred). • Solid understanding of project documents (plans, specs, submittals, contracts). • Familiar with local construction safety, quality, and health standards. • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and site inspections.
