About the Role: The Warehouse Operations Department Manager I plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the daily operations within a wholesale trade environment. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of service delivery to meet organizational goals. The manager will lead a team, coordinate cross-departmental activities, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. They will also monitor key performance indicators, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Ultimately, this role drives operational excellence and supports the company’s strategic objectives by fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management within the wholesale trade industry or a similar sector. * Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving operational improvements. * Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics. * Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies. * Familiarity with advanced data analytics tools and business intelligence software. * Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Operations Management. * Experience working in a multi-site or national operations environment. Responsibilities: * Lead and supervise the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient daily activities. * Develop and implement operational procedures to improve productivity and quality. * Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales departments to align operational goals and support business growth. * Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. * Assist with budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively to meet operational targets. * Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. * Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. * Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to develop team capabilities.
