You’ll plan, organize and lead instrumentation and electrical projects from concept through close-out, shaping project strategy, driving safety and efficiency, and delivering on-time, on-budget results. What you’ll do - Lead, plan, and execute I&E construction projects end-to-end, ensuring customer needs are met, timelines are achieved, and target profitability is realized. - Define roles, responsibilities, and decision rights for project teams, partners, and customers to drive safe, compliant, and on-schedule delivery. - Oversee contract performance, ensure alignment with drawings/specifications, manage change orders and claims promptly, and monitor adherence to regulatory and company standards. - Approve major procurement commitments, bid tabulations, and critical contract changes in line with Burrow Global procedures. - Review, validate, and approve invoices and progress payments; monitor completion percentages and financial health of projects. - Lead client communications, providing transparent status updates, scope revisions, and schedule changes through structured change control. - Coordinate internal operations (ROW, permitting, engineering, procurement, surveying), resolving issues that impact scope, schedule, or budget. - Ensure construction activities meet our EHS policy and applicable regulatory requirements; foster a safe, productive work environment. - Track material delivery and availability to meet contract commitments; optimize logistics and scheduling. - Ensure comprehensive project documentation (plans, permits, schedules, change control, status reports, close-out dossiers) is complete and audit-ready. - Lead, mentor, and develop I&E project personnel; actively promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. - Drive project post-mortems and lessons learned to strengthen future performance. What success looks like - Projects delivered safely, on time, and within budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards. - Clear, proactive risk management and issue resolution; efficient handling of change orders and claims. - Strong client relationships, with regular, credible progress reporting and stakeholder alignment. - High-quality project documentation, close-out deliverables, and post-project reviews that drive organizational learning. - A motivated, high-performing project team with clear career development paths. Experience and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. Minimum 5+ years of experience as an operations manager. Candidates must have sales experience and have deep industry contacts with the ability to generate new business and close high-value deals. - 5+ years of I&E project management experience, including scope definition, estimating, cost and schedule control, design and construction management, procurement, and permitting. - Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project tools (e.g., MS Project or similar). - Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and organizational capabilities. - Problem-solver with a proactive, self-directed mindset and the ability to operate with minimal supervision. - Strong communication skills; adept at stakeholder management and collaborating with diverse teams. Other requirements - Willingness to relocate for project assignments and travel as needed. - Ability to travel frequently to project sites. - Compliance with Burrow Global, LLC policies and Drug & Alcohol policy; maintain safe work practices for oneself and others. - Eligible to work in the United States.
