Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Test, Performance, and Scalability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the BIMQuote Server Application. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of software quality and system performance, supporting the platform's growth and reliability. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality. - You will analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize scalability. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate performance testing into the development lifecycle. - You will develop and execute load and stress tests to validate system robustness. - You will troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in a timely manner. - You will contribute to architectural decisions to enhance system scalability. - You will mentor junior engineers on best practices in testing and performance optimization. - You will document testing procedures and performance metrics for continuous improvement. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on testing and performance engineering. - Strong proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks. - Expertise in performance testing methodologies and scalability analysis. - Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with BIMQuote or similar construction industry software. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Background in mentoring and leading engineering teams.
