Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Test, Performance, and Scalability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the BIMQuote Server Application. Your expertise will drive the development and maintenance of high-quality testing frameworks and performance optimization strategies. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality. - You will analyze and optimize application performance and scalability to meet growing user demands. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - You will develop and execute load and stress testing scenarios to validate system reliability. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of development and deployment processes. - You will mentor junior engineers and share best practices in testing and performance engineering. - You will monitor system metrics and provide actionable insights for performance tuning. - You will document testing procedures and performance benchmarks for future reference. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on testing and performance engineering. - Strong proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar. - Experience with performance profiling and monitoring tools. - Solid understanding of scalable system architecture and cloud platforms. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with BIM or construction industry software. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
