Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in Test, Performance, and Scalability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the BIMQuote Server Application. Your expertise will help maintain and enhance the platform’s performance, scalability, and reliability, supporting our mission to provide seamless and high-quality services to our clients. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability. - You will analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize application scalability. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate performance testing into the development lifecycle. - You will develop and execute load and stress tests to validate system robustness under various conditions. - You will troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations. - You will contribute to architectural decisions to enhance system scalability and maintainability. - You will mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in testing and performance engineering. - You will document testing procedures, performance metrics, and scalability strategies for ongoing reference. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on testing, performance, and scalability engineering. - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms. - Proven ability to analyze complex systems and optimize for high availability and scalability. - Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of database performance tuning and monitoring. - Prior experience in the real estate technology sector or related industries.
