Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Test, Performance, and Scalability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of the BIMQuote Server Application. Your expertise will drive the development and maintenance of high-quality testing frameworks and performance optimization strategies to support our scalable application platform. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability. - You will analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize application scalability. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate performance testing into the development lifecycle. - You will develop and execute load and stress tests to validate system robustness under various conditions. - You will troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in a timely manner. - You will mentor junior engineers on best practices in testing and performance engineering. - You will contribute to architectural decisions to enhance system scalability and maintainability. - You will document testing procedures and performance metrics for continuous improvement. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on testing, performance, and scalability. - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, LoadRunner). - Deep understanding of performance profiling, load testing, and scalability strategies. - Experience working with server-side applications and cloud platforms. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in agile teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with BIMQuote or similar construction industry software platforms. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
