Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Test, Performance, and Scalability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the BIMQuote Server Application. Your expertise will drive the development and maintenance of high-quality testing frameworks and performance optimization strategies. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality. - You will analyze and optimize application performance and scalability to meet growing user demands. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - You will develop and execute load and stress testing scenarios to validate system reliability. - You will contribute to architectural decisions to enhance system scalability. - You will mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in testing and performance engineering. - You will monitor system metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. - You will document testing procedures and performance benchmarks for team reference. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on testing and performance engineering. - Strong proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar. - Expertise in performance profiling and tuning of server-side applications. - Solid understanding of scalability principles and distributed system architectures. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with BIMQuote or similar construction industry software platforms. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for performance and scalability solutions. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Background in mentoring and leading engineering teams.
