Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Test, Performance, and Scalability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the BIMQuote Server Application. Your expertise will drive the development and maintenance of high-quality testing frameworks and performance optimization strategies. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality. - You will analyze and optimize application performance and scalability to meet growing user demands. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - You will develop and execute load and stress testing scenarios to validate system reliability. - You will contribute to architectural decisions to enhance system scalability. - You will mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in testing and performance engineering. - You will monitor system metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. - You will document testing procedures and performance tuning guidelines. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on testing and performance engineering. - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Deep understanding of scalability principles and distributed systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with BIMQuote Server Application or similar platforms. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
