Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Test, Performance, and Scalability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of the BIMQuote Server Application. Your expertise will drive the development and maintenance of testing frameworks, performance optimization, and scalability enhancements to support our growing platform. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software releases. - You will analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize application scalability. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance benchmarks and testing strategies. - You will develop tools and scripts to monitor application health and performance metrics. - You will lead efforts to improve the scalability of the BIMQuote Server Application to handle increased user loads. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex performance issues in a timely manner. - You will mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in testing and performance engineering. - You will contribute to architectural discussions to enhance system reliability and efficiency. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on testing, performance, and scalability. - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). - Deep understanding of performance profiling, load testing, and scalability techniques. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed systems architecture. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with BIMQuote or similar construction industry software platforms. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation. - Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
