Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Test, Performance, and Scalability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of the BIMQuote Server Application. Your expertise will drive the development and maintenance of testing frameworks, performance optimization, and scalability enhancements to support our growing platform. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software releases. - You will analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks to optimize application scalability. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate performance testing into the development lifecycle. - You will develop and execute load and stress tests to validate system reliability under various conditions. - You will troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in a timely manner. - You will contribute to architectural discussions to enhance system scalability and resilience. - You will mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in testing and performance engineering. - You will document testing procedures and performance metrics to support continuous improvement. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on testing, performance, and scalability. - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Deep understanding of distributed systems and server-side application architecture. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic. - Prior experience in the construction or financial technology sectors.
