Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Test, Performance, and Scalability, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the BIMQuote Server Application. Your expertise will drive the development and maintenance of high-quality testing frameworks and performance optimization strategies to support our growing platform. What You'll Do: - You will design, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies for the BIMQuote Server Application. - You will analyze system performance and scalability, identifying bottlenecks and proposing effective solutions. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing and performance improvements into the development lifecycle. - You will develop automated test suites to ensure continuous quality assurance. - You will monitor application performance metrics and conduct load and stress testing. - You will troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in a timely manner. - You will mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in testing and performance engineering. - You will contribute to architectural decisions to enhance system scalability and reliability. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on testing, performance, and scalability. - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and automation frameworks. - Proven ability to analyze and optimize system performance at scale. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with BIM or construction industry software. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
