Role Overview: As the Lead Senior Software Development Engineer and Development Manager, you will spearhead our software development team, driving both strategic vision and technical excellence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain a scalable Linux-based server platform that supports our growing business needs. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - You will define and implement the technical roadmap for our Linux-based scalable server platform. - You will collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align development efforts with business goals. - You will oversee code quality, architecture decisions, and ensure best practices are followed. - You will manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to meet deadlines. - You will identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges proactively. - You will drive the adoption of new technologies and tools to enhance development efficiency. - You will facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments. What You Bring: - 8+ years of software development experience with a strong background in Linux server environments. - Proven leadership experience managing software development teams. - Expertise in scalable server platform architecture and development. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the financial technology or real estate lending industry. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
