Role Overview: As the Lead Senior Software Development Engineer and Development Manager, you will spearhead the software development team, providing both strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise. You will be responsible for guiding the team in building a robust Linux-based scalable server platform, ensuring high performance and reliability. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. - You will define and implement the technical roadmap for the platform in alignment with business goals. - You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable server solutions on Linux. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless operation. - You will establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to maintain high-quality standards. - You will manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion. - You will identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring platform security and stability. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement. What You Bring: - 8+ years of software development experience with a strong background in Linux-based server platforms. - Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring software development teams. - Expertise in scalable system architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimization. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Background in financial technology or real estate lending platforms. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
