About the Role at Buddy Moving Looking for a remote position where you actually get to help people—and not chase them with cold calls? At Buddy Moving, our Customer Service Representatives are the friendly first voice our customers hear when they’re planning a move. Every call is from someone who wants our help. Your job is to be their “buddy” through the process: answer questions, walk them through options, and secure their move date with us. If you enjoy talking to people, solving problems, and working from home, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Do Answer inbound calls, texts, and/or web leads from people who are actively looking to move. Ask great questions to understand their move details and recommend the right service. Provide clear, accurate information about pricing, availability, and next steps. Use our CRM (training provided) to create and manage opportunities, notes, and follow‑ups. Book moves, update existing reservations, and deliver an awesome customer experience on every interaction. Work as part of a supportive remote team that relies on each other to pick up calls quickly and keep customers happy. What We’re Looking For Comfortable and confident speaking with customers over the phone. Strong active listening and clear communication skills. Basic computer skills (email, web‑based systems, data entry). Able to learn our CRM and follow scripts/processes (we’ll train you). Organized, dependable, and able to work from home with minimal distractions. A positive attitude—we want customers to feel like they’re talking to a real buddy, not a robot. This is not a cold‑calling sales job. All customers are contacting us because they are interested in moving services. Whether helping a customer schedule their move or working to a resolve an issue, our Customer Service Representatives are the first point of contact and set the tone for their entire experience with us.
