Role Description BryceTech is looking for a Workforce Planning Specialist to provide support, analysis, and insights for our federal government client, including the development and implementation of workforce position management reviews and a succession plan. • Collaborating with the Organizational Consulting Lead to design, plan, and execute multiple position management reviews. • Serving as a thought partner in the creation and execution of a succession planning strategy, incorporating best practices from government and industry. • Analyzing workforce supply and demand to identify current and future capability gaps within a highly technical and specialized workforce. • Compiling and analyzing workforce trend data from disparate sources (e.g., ALDS, BOBJ, PDW, and other custom reports) to generate actionable insights. • Creating and updating Power BI dashboards; designing customized Microsoft Workspace environments as needed to manage user-specific security restrictions. • Developing reports that integrate complex datasets across multiple agency platforms. • Applying advanced Excel functions (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and custom formulas) to produce analytics and visualizations, while ensuring accurate interpretation of federal HR coding and classification systems. • Providing evidence-based recommendations on staffing levels, workforce mix, and succession planning. • Developing project schedules, preparing briefing packages and presentations, and partnering with civil servant counterparts on workforce planning initiatives. • Scheduling and facilitating recurring meetings with stakeholders, documenting key highlights, and tracking action items. • Supporting the development and distribution of stakeholder communications. • Documenting processes related to position management, workforce planning, and succession management. • Attending, participating in, and facilitating meetings, briefings, and presentations. Qualifications • Graduate degree in a related field with 6 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in an appropriate specialization. • Demonstrated knowledge of workforce planning for large organizations, succession planning strategies, and position management reviews. • Expert knowledge of federal human capital business management, workforce strategy, and data analytics. • Strong experience in federal HR data management systems; prior NASA experience preferred. • Proven ability to analyze workforce data to identify trends, provide insights, and deliver actionable recommendations. • Experience conducting comprehensive research and program analysis, and providing consultation for all levels of management on complex HR matters. • Experience evaluating operational requirements relative to programs, guidance, and review processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
