About the Role At Bruster PLLC, we practice law with a higher purpose. That purpose is supported every day by the strength of our internal systems, operations, and relationships. We are hiring a Business Operations Manager to help build and maintain that foundation. This is a business-first role for someone who understands how structure, data, and service all work together. You will lead projects, refine workflows, support technology systems, and create the kind of operational clarity that allows lawyers and staff to stay focused on client work. You will not be micromanaged. You will be expected to take ownership, think ahead, and follow through. You will be asked to support everything from system reporting to policy documentation, and to do so with humility, curiosity, and a desire to serve the larger team. Key Responsibilities Business and Operational Support • Own firm initiatives and projects from start to finish without waiting for detailed instructions • Identify operational inefficiencies and propose clear, thoughtful improvements • Draft, implement, and maintain internal policies, including the employee handbook and key office procedures • Keep operational documentation clear, current, and accessible to the right people • Partner closely with the leadership team to ensure that operations reflect and support firm values Data and KPI Collaboration • Work with leadership and accounting to define and maintain firm-wide KPIs • Build dashboards and reports that align data with decision-making • Ensure KPIs evolve as the firm grows, and that performance metrics are meaningful and well understood • Contribute to a culture of transparency and accountability through clear reporting Technology Stewardship • Serve as the firm’s Filevine Administrator, supporting workflow optimization, user issues, and team training • Manage and update internal systems such as the firm’s intranet and WordPress website • Coordinate with vendors such as the Managed Services Provider (MSP), marketing team, and other technology partners Cross-Functional Teamwork • Collaborate across departments to support firm-wide initiatives • Help coordinate logistics, systems, and communication during key operational changes (such as an office move) • Provide support where needed, whether planning a system rollout or resolving a supply issue • Model reliability, flexibility, and grace under pressure What You Bring • A proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership over your work • Confidence to lead, humility to learn, and resilience to keep moving forward • The ability to research and implement new tools or policies with minimal oversight • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage shifting priorities • A team-first attitude and a sincere desire to support others through excellent operations Preferred but Not Required • Familiarity with Filevine, Power BI, WordPress, and Microsoft 365 • Experience drafting HR or operations policies • Background in reporting, project execution, or process improvement Qualifications • 5 to 10 years of experience in operations, project coordination, legal tech, or a similar cross-functional role • Demonstrated ability to work independently while remaining closely connected to a team • Strong communication skills and a high degree of trustworthiness Base Salary • Anticipated base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000, depending on experience To Apply • Please send a brief introduction and your resume.
