Overview The Sales Manager (SM) - South, West & Canada will lead and manage a team of Territory Managers and Inside Sales Representatives in assigned North American regions. SM is tasked with delivering key performance metrics; focused on revenue, growth, average selling price and market performance. SM will work closely with sales team leadership and internal departments to deliver results. SM will also work closely with strategic customers (dealers, government agencies and subcontractors), creating strong, trusting relationships to foster mutual success. SM will work with team to build and execute metro plans to success. SM will run and participate in regular business reviews with customers to identify opportunities to support market and drive growth. SM will be a key member of sales leadership team and will regularly interact with company executive team on strategic and tactical initiatives. Responsibilities • Deliver sales plans and key performance metrics • Collaborative work with multiple internal departments • Manage and develop team of Territory Managers and Inside Sales representatives • Lead relationship with identified large, strategic customers within regions managed • Conduct regular strategic planning within regions, metro markets and customer verticals • Participate in customer training and enablement activities • Lead and participate in regular business reviews with all customer types • Regularly report-out on KPIs, strategic initiatives and tactical activities • Focus on team development and growth • Collaborate in sales enablement, sales operations and business development initiatives Qualifications Education and Experience: • Four year degree with at least 5 years of experience leading sales teams for a manufacturer in multi-step distribution. • Aging-in-place or home accessibility experience is a plus. Skills and Abilities: • Read, analyze, and interpret a variety of information, such as technical procedures, business correspondence, and governmental regulations furnished in written, oral or diagram form. • Create business-level written correspondence and verbally present information to internal and external customers. • Salesforce CRM, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Power BI Working Conditions/Physical Demands: • Home Office. States Covered: Western US Region, Southern US including Canada. Passport required. • Up to 50% travel to customer locations is required. Valid Driver's License required. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and touch; and talk and hear.
