Brownridge Greenhouses & Nursery Ltd. is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance/Handyperson to join our team. This position supports the overall maintenance, repair, and smooth operation of our busy wholesale greenhouse facility. Key Responsibilities • Set up, dismantle, and maintain irrigation systems throughout the greenhouse. • Perform general repairs and maintenance on greenhouse structures. • Operate a tractor for snow removal and grass cutting. • Maintain equipment including racks, tractors, wagons, planting lines, and flat fillers. • Driving a straight truck (DZ license) during peak seasons in May and September—an asset but not mandatory. Requirements • Physically fit; able to crouch and work comfortably on ladders. • Previous maintenance experience required; greenhouse maintenance experience considered an asset. • Working at Heights certification (training provided if needed). • Valid G driver’s license; DZ license an asset but not mandatory. • Strong ability to work independently, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks.. Position: Maintenance / Handyperson Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (Extended hours required during April and May) Status: Full-time, year-round Pay: $21.00/hour Benefits: Health benefits after 6 months; Vacation: 2 weeks over Christmas + 2 weeks during off season times.
