You will be the frontline representative of BMG, providing expert technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance to uphold our high standards of service. What You'll Do: - You will install, maintain, and repair thermoforming and automation machinery at customer locations. - You will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues to minimize downtime. - You will provide technical training and support to customers to ensure proper equipment operation. - You will collaborate with engineering and customer service teams to resolve complex technical problems. - You will document service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used. - You will travel regularly to customer sites, maintaining a professional and customer-focused demeanor. - You will recommend improvements and upgrades to enhance equipment performance and reliability. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or equipment maintenance, preferably in thermoforming or automation industries. - Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Willingness to travel extensively and work independently in the field. - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with PLC programming and diagnostics. - Background in automation software and controls. - Technical certifications related to mechanical or electrical systems. - Prior experience working in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
