Role Overview The Product Manager, D2C, is a pivotal role, responsible for strengthening Brother’s Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channel. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, B2C, this role defines, plans, and operationalizes Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to drive profitable growth, bridging Product Planning, Digital, Customer Experience (CX), Marketing, and GTM Operations teams. The Product Manager ensures that category offering, pricing, promotion, and placement decisions are aligned with customer insights, revenue goals, and strategic business outcomes. Duties & Responsibilities Go-To-Market Strategy & Execution • * Translate category and business objectives into D2C-specific go-to-market plans for brother.ca, defining product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional levers aligned with broader B2C targets. • Leverage market and competitive insights to shape revenue-driving strategies, while managing a robust promotional calendar and pipeline of attraction, conversion, and retention initiatives across e-commerce and non-e-commerce channels. • Apply a KPI-driven “test and learn” approach in partnership with Digital and CX teams to continuously optimize performance and impact. Product Lifecycle & Launch Excellence • * Lead D2C readiness for product launches, working cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution. • Provide recommendations to the Digital team on improvements to the online shopping experience (navigation, product pages, checkout process, etc.). • Collaborate with Customer Service to monitor feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Performance & Forecast Management • * Analyze sales, revenue, margin, and conversion KPIs to provide actionable insights and validate D2C forecasts based on performance trends. • Deliver regular analysis, reporting and updates on sales, profit, and D2C progress to support pricing, promotional strategies, and achievement of both short- and long-term category targets. Cross-Functional Collaboration • * Collaborate with Digital, CX, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Product Planning teams to integrate D2C initiatives into overall product strategy and support long-term strategic growth objectives. Experience & Qualifications • * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. • 3–5 years of product management experience in CPG or Tech industries. • Proven track record of scaling an e-commerce business. • Strong understanding of e-commerce and D2C models, including experience with promotional levers and digital performance KPIs. • Experience with product lifecycle, GTM execution, and 4P strategy with a shopper-focused mindset. • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders. • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills; hypothesis-driven mindset. • Excellent communication, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and goal-driven. • Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced environment. • Proficient in MS Office Suite. • Experience with project management and continuous improvement initiatives. • Minor travel may be required (<5%). • Bilingual • Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
