Role Overview: As a Sr. DevOps Engineer at BMI, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing our cloud-native infrastructure. Your expertise in Kubernetes orchestration and Azure Databricks integration will drive automation and efficiency, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our software delivery and operational processes. What You'll Do: - You will manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability. - You will integrate and maintain Azure Databricks environments to support data processing workflows. - You will collaborate with Software Developers, QA Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Network Operations teams to automate deployment pipelines. - You will design and implement CI/CD processes to streamline software releases. - You will monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues proactively. - You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or ARM templates. - You will enforce security best practices across cloud environments. - You will document processes and provide training to team members on DevOps tools and practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or related engineering roles. - Strong expertise in Kubernetes orchestration and containerization technologies. - Proficiency with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Databricks. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Solid scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Knowledge of security compliance standards and best practices in cloud environments. - Background in software development or quality assurance. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
