Role Overview: As a Sr. DevOps Engineer at BMI, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing our cloud-native infrastructure. Your expertise in Kubernetes orchestration and Azure Databricks integration will drive automation and efficiency, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our software delivery and operational processes. What You'll Do: - You will manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability. - You will integrate and maintain Azure Databricks environments to support data processing workflows. - You will collaborate with software developers, QA analysts, and network operations to automate deployment pipelines. - You will design and implement CI/CD processes to improve software delivery speed and reliability. - You will monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues proactively. - You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or ARM templates. - You will participate in on-call rotations to support production environments. - You will document processes and provide training to team members on DevOps best practices. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering. - Strong expertise in Kubernetes orchestration and container management. - Proficiency with Azure cloud services, especially Azure Databricks. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Solid scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or ARM templates. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments. - Background in Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams. - Certifications in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or Azure (AZ-400).
