(1) Sr Manager, GPS Learning Partner role in support of Bothell and Devens Manufacturing Sites Position Summary The Senior Manager, GPS Learning Partner is responsible for leading a team of Learning Partners who will work directly with site/functional areas to deliver learning in alignment with Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) policies, standards, procedures, and global current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). In this capacity, the incumbent will foster trust and cultivate a collaborative environment with key stakeholders both locally and globally. This role reports to the Director, Learning Partner Services. Roles and Responsibilities: The Senior Manager, GPS Learning Partner is responsible for ensuring that learning partners provide the following: Customer Support: Providing comprehensive, site-facing customer support to address training needs and inquiries effectively. Training Impact Assessments: Conducting thorough training impact assessments for new and revised documents to ensure alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Onboarding Programs: Designing and delivering comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to specific sites and functional areas to facilitate seamless integration of new employees. Content Development Partnership: Collaborating with content developers to ensure the creation of effective and relevant training materials that meet the needs of specific sites and functional areas. Role-Based Curricula: Developing and managing customized role-based curricula to address the unique training requirements of different sites and functional areas. Communication Liaison: Acting as a conduit between GPS Learning and all sites/functional areas to ensure consistent communication and alignment of training initiatives. cGMP Training: Developing and implementing comprehensive cGMP training programs to ensure compliance with global regulatory standards. Job-Specific Training: Providing targeted job-specific training across all GPS locations in collaboration with site and functional stakeholders to enhance employee performance and competency. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in science is required; Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years of leadership experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Extensive cGMP Quality Knowledge: Possesses extensive knowledge of cGMP Quality, particularly in training, and demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement. Stakeholder Interaction and Influence: Capable of effectively interacting with and influencing multidisciplinary stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. Critical Problem Interpretation and Communication: Skilled in critically interpreting problems and communicating solutions in a clear, concise, and impactful manner to team members, stakeholders, and the GPS Learning Organization. Coaching and Development: Proficient in coaching others, talent selection, developing team members, decision-making, building relationships, and resource allocation. Independent Mindset and Tenacity: Demonstrates an independent mindset and tenacity in achieving objectives. Leadership and Collaboration: Leadership and collaborative skills to drive team performance and deliver impactful outcomes across GPS sites and functional areas. Strategic Thinking and Innovation Management: Skilled in strategic thinking, innovation, and negotiation. Possesses a strategic perspective and a leadership disposition. Autonomous Decision-Making: Requires minimal direction to complete tasks; adept at obtaining resources and information from established contacts; consults with leadership for decisions outside established processes; manages experienced professional employees; holds authority to make daily decisions that impact the team, site, and functional areas. Compensation Overview: Bothell - WA - US: $133,800 - $162,132 Devens - MA - US: $130,150 - $157,714 The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown. *Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
