Behavioral Health Technician I job at Brightli. Nixa, MO. As a Behavioral Health Technician I in our Youth Residential program, you'll provide direct care and supervision to youth residents ages 13-17 with persistent mental illnesses, facilitate therapeutic activities, and work with a team to support the residents' treatment goals and daily program. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with at-risk youth, has experience with direct care for youth preferred, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities include participating as an active member of the treatment team to ensure the home is a safe haven for therapeutic transformation, continuously assessing and supporting the young person's perception of safety and relatedness, providing direct care and supervision to youth residents ages 8-17, facilitating therapeutic activities, working with a team on daily programs and treatment plans, facilitating house meetings, facilitating one specialized group weekly, dispensing medications as requested and permitted, and monitoring and charting resident activity and treatment progress daily. Education and experience qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, direct care experience with youth preferred but not required, acceptable recent driving record, and being 21 years of age or older. Additional qualifications include strong communication and collaboration skills, passion for working with at-risk youth, ability to work in a team environment, and flexibility and adaptability.
