Independent Contractor Roles at BridgePoint Labs Location: Remote (Atlanta, GA HQ) BridgePoint Labs is a premier consulting firm guiding organizations from concept to commercialization across eight key technology domains: AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Quantum, CleanTech, Dual-Use/Defense Tech, BioTech, Broadband Wireless, SpaceTech, and Semiconductors. We partner with technology companies, universities, and innovation laboratories nationwide to deliver outcomes that accelerate growth, innovation, and market impact. We are expanding our network of independent contractors (1099) and seeking highly motivated professionals with expertise in the following areas: Opportunities Include: · Go-To-Market Strategy – Support clients in building commercialization pathways, customer acquisition, and growth strategies. · Grant Writing & Funding Strategy – Identify opportunities, prepare competitive proposals, and support non-dilutive funding strategies. · Technology Consulting & Advisory – Provide subject-matter expertise across our focus areas to guide technical strategy and development. · Research & Innovation Analysis – Conduct market and technology research, assess emerging trends, and generate actionable insights. · Business Development – Identify and cultivate client relationships, partnerships, and revenue opportunities. Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, computer science, business, economics, or related discipline) OR equivalent professional experience. · Minimum 3–5 years of experience in consulting, research, business development, or technology strategy. · Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML), Cybersecurity, Quantum Computing, CleanTech, Defense Technology, Biotechnology, Space Technology, or Semiconductors. · Strong technical writing, grant writing, or proposal development skills. · Excellent communication and presentation abilities with clients and stakeholders. · Ability to work independently on project-based and remote contract work. · Authorized to work in the United States (BridgePoint Labs does not provide sponsorship for contractor roles). Preferred Qualifications · Advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD, or PE) in a relevant STEM or business field. · Proven experience with federal funding programs (DOE, DOD, NSF, ARPA-E, NIH) and non-dilutive funding strategy. · Track record in go-to-market strategy, commercialization, or startup consulting. · Familiarity with academic, government, and private-sector R&D ecosystems. · Experience in market research, innovation management, or technology commercialization consulting. · Strong professional network within the technology, research, or funding ecosystem. · Ability to synthesize complex technical and business data into clear insights and recommendations.
