About the Company: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable On-call / On-Demand Incident Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing on-demand support incidents in a government cloud infrastructure. Additionally, you will be required to perform a simple daily task of clicking a button on a web page twice per shift (once every 4 hours). Key Responsibilities: • Respond promptly to on-demand support incidents during your designated 8-hour shift, 7 days a week. • Ensure availability to respond to alerts within 15 minutes on weekdays and within 60 minutes on weekends. • Perform a daily task of clicking a button on a web page twice per shift (1 click every 4 hours). • Manage and resolve support incidents that may occasionally extend past the end of your shift. Availability and Hours: • On-call during your designated 8-hour shift, 7 days a week. • Respond to alerts within the specified timeframes. • Handle up to 65 hours of active incident support time per month. • Overtime pay for any additional hours of active incident support beyond the 65 hours per month. Guaranteed Pay: • $750 per month for daily availability, including the button-clicking task and up to 65 hours of active incident support time. • $15 per hour for any additional hours of active incident support beyond the 65 hours per month. Work Remotely: • This position is fully remote. • A cell phone (for alerts) and a reliable internet connection (for connectivity and meetings) are required. Bonuses: • Training: Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for the role. Experience with Mac OS and cloud concepts is helpful. • Laptop Provided: A laptop will be provided to you due to the nature of the work involving access to a government cloud. Qualifications: • Reliable and prompt in responding to alerts and managing incidents. • Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and support processes. • Experience with Mac OS and cloud concepts is a plus. • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
