APAC Regional Planning Manager APAC Regional Planning Manager leads and coordinates end-to-end planning processes across regional SKUs through hubs ensuring optimal inventory levels, forecast accuracy, timely fulfillment, and strong stakeholder alignment in support of Brenntag's supply chain objectives. By driving both strategic and operational planning, the Regional Planning Manager leverages Brenntag's scale to deliver cost efficiency, service performance, and working capital optimization. Additionally, the role also owns master data governance across APAC markets and actively contributes to network optimization projects to design the most cost-effective and resilient supply chain. Key Responsibilities Regional Planning Leadership • Drive planning for regional materials through hubs, ensuring alignment with best practices and regional requirements. • Coordinate hub-level planning to balance service levels, cost, and inventory targets. • Act as the regional process owner, ensuring consistency and scalability of planning practices. Forecasting & Demand Planning • Lead the design and execution of demand forecasting processes for regional materials to match customer & business requirements. • Collaborate with commercial, finance, and supply chain teams to improve forecast accuracy. • Track forecast KPIs and drive corrective actions where needed. Inventory & Replenishment Planning • Define replenishment frameworks to optimize inventory policies and service levels at hubs. • Monitor replenishment performance metrics and ensure timely corrective actions. • Support working capital optimization through effective inventory management. S&OP & Stakeholder Alignment • Actively participate in SIOP process, ensuring demand, supply, and financial plans are aligned. • Work closely with Commercial, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, SNO, and Finance to align forecast assumptions, resolve constraints, and balance supply/demand. Supply Aggregation & Distribution • Drive supply aggregation for regional consolidation and distribution to local markets. • Actively participate in network optimization projects to design the most cost-effective and resilient supply chain. • Align hub structures, distribution flows, and inventory positioning to maximize efficiency and service. • Provide planning insights to support regional footprint and distribution decisions. Master Data Management • Ensure material master alignment across APAC markets, driving consistency in SKU definitions, attributes, and planning parameters. • Establish governance processes and KPIs to monitor master data quality and compliance. • Act as the regional owner for material master data, ensuring integrity and usability for planning systems. People Management • Manage a team of planners, providing leadership, coaching, and development. • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and ensure accountability for results. • Build team capability in planning processes, systems, and analytics. Qualifications Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related discipline (Master's preferred). • Minimum 8–10+ years of supply chain planning or hub planning experience in a global MNC environment. • Prior experience with inventory optimization, forecast modeling and ERP systems (SAP preferred). Skills & Competencies • Strong analytical capabilities, with proficiency in data analysis, Excel, and planning tools. • Proven cross-functional collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders. • Excellent communication — both written and verbal. • Strategic mindset with focus on service level improvements and cost-effective planning.
