Role Overview: As a Senior RF Design Engineer specializing in CATV, you will lead the design and development of advanced RF systems for cable television applications. Your expertise will drive innovation and ensure high-performance solutions that meet industry standards and customer needs. What You'll Do: - You will design, simulate, and test RF circuits and systems for CATV applications. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product features and enhancements. - You will analyze system performance and troubleshoot RF issues to optimize designs. - You will lead technical reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers. - You will document design processes and maintain compliance with industry regulations. - You will support manufacturing and field teams during product deployment and testing. - You will stay current with emerging RF technologies and industry trends. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - You have 7+ years of experience in RF design, specifically in CATV or related communications systems. - You are proficient with RF simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, or similar. - You have strong knowledge of RF components, signal integrity, and system integration. - You possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You have effective communication skills and experience working in collaborative team environments. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with DOCSIS standards and cable modem technologies. - Familiarity with PCB layout and RF test equipment. - Previous leadership or project management experience. - Knowledge of regulatory standards such as FCC and IEC.
