The Manager, People & Business Operations will be responsible for the effective delivery, scaling, and continuous improvement of Brainchild Bio’s People, Culture and Core Corporate Operations. This role ensures that HR processes, people infrastructure, and cross-functional business operations are executed consistently, efficiently, and in a way that supports sustainable company growth. This is a role for a true generalist that loves to bridge the gap between people, culture and core processes. You must be a fast learner, effective communicator and have the willingness to create clarity out of ambiguity. This position is ideal for an operator who combines strong HR operational acumen with systems thinking, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to translate strategy into durable, scalable execution. \n Responsibilities: People & HR Operations Delivery Support the end-to-end delivery of core HR processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability, including: Talent Management Lifecyle, Talent Acquisitions, Benefits Administration, HRIS Data and other key HR Processes Partner closely with People & Culture leadership to ensure HR programs are delivered smoothly and with minimal disruption to the business Ensure HR processes are clearly documented, well communicated, and consistently applied across the organization Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, or risks and proactively drive improvements Business Operations & Scalable Infrastructure Support the delivery and evolution of core business operations that enable organizational effectiveness and growth Partner with Finance, IT, and Legal and other functions to ensure people and corporate processes scale in line with company needs Help establish and maintain sustainable operating rhythms across the business (e.g., annual planning, HR budgeting, talent review cadences) Ensure cross-functional initiatives are executed in a way that balances speed, quality, and long-term sustainability Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence Serve as a steward of continuous improvement across People & Business Operations Evaluate existing processes, tools, and workflows to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and standardization Implement improvements that reduce friction, increase clarity, and improve the employee and manager experience Track operational effectiveness and recommend changes based on data, feedback, and evolving business needs Governance, Execution & Accountability Provide clarity around ownership, decision rights, and escalation paths for people and business operations Ensure commitments are delivered on time and at a high standard, even when ownership is distributed Create visibility for leadership into operational health, risks, and improvement opportunities Support leadership with clear, concise updates and recommendations Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required (business, human resources, operations, or related field) 5–8+ years of experience in HR operations, people operations, business operations, or a related role Demonstrated experience delivering and scaling HR processes in a growing organization Strong systems thinking and continuous improvement mindset Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments Preferred Experience in biotech, life sciences, retail, manufacturing or another early growth stage operating environment Experience partnering closely with Corporate Functions Exposure to HRIS implementations or significant process redesign efforts Experience supporting senior leadership teams \n $125,000 - $145,000 a year \n
