Description: • The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for developing and executing business strategies with National Accounts, Telehealth Providers, Hospital Systems, and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) to achieve sales objectives, drive customer engagement, and optimize patient access. • The SAM serves as the primary relationship owner for targeted accounts, building long-term partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions. • This position requires a patient-centric, customer-focused professional with a strong background in specialty pharmaceuticals, account management, and contracting, including experience with Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill distribution models. • The SAM must conduct all work activities in accordance with Braeburn policies and Code of Conduct. • Account Management & Business Development: Achieve planned Braeburn goals, and patient access to product objectives and other expected performance measures for assigned geography. • Demonstrate mastery of sales competencies: Business Acumen – Review, analyze and interpret reports / facts and data to plan and execute territory activities that ensure quarterly and annual objectives are met. Develop a deep understanding of assigned territory, including delivery of care, major payers and regulatory environment. Understand industry trends and emerging competition as well as reimbursement patterns and potential implications to patient delivery. Understand state law and policies to execute tactics within a local geography. • Scientific Knowledge – Mastery of disease state and product information communicated in a compliant manner consistent with the FDA-approved product labeling and REMS program. • Customer Engagement – Engage with account personnel to prepare for sales call, uncover needs and opportunities, communicate approved solutions, address customer concerns, gain advance/commitment, post call analysis/next steps. • Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with corporate objectives for assigned National Accounts, Telehealth Providers, Hospital Systems, and IDNs. Serve as the primary liaison for account stakeholders, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships at multiple organizational levels. • Identify, pursue, and secure business opportunities to drive adoption and utilization of Braeburn products. • Monitor account-level KPIs to ensure alignment with corporate goals and adjust strategies as needed. • Work with contracting and market access teams to ensure optimal execution of agreements from initiation to implementation. • Conduct quarterly business reviews on key accounts to assess performance, identify opportunities, and address barriers. • Deliver comprehensive updates and performance reports to the Senior Regional Director and other leadership stakeholders. • Leverage analytics and market insights to inform account strategy and decision-making. • Manage budgets and expenses within company guidelines. • Partner with Market Access, Trade, Government Affairs, Marketing, Sales Operations, Business Operations, and Medical Affairs to align strategy and execution at the account level. • Collaborate with Regional Business Specialists and Key Account Managers to coordinate pull-through efforts. • Champion innovative, compliant approaches to maximize customer engagement and patient access. • Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Strong understanding of contracting, pricing, and reimbursement for specialty pharmaceuticals, including physician-administered therapies and hospital billing. • Deep knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill distribution models. • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and adapt strategies accordingly. • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and dynamic environments. • High ethical standards and commitment to compliance. • Demonstrated passion and empathy for improving Addiction/Mental Health patient care • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree; 7+ years pharmaceutical experience; travel required. • Braeburn is committed to equal opportunity and compliance with laws. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced degree preferred. • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience with at least 3 years in specialty/biotech account management or market access roles. • Proven track record of success in managing large, complex accounts in specialty markets. • Minimum 2+ years experience working with National Accounts, Hospital Systems and/or Telehealth organizations preferred. • Experience working with National Accounts, Hospital Systems, and/or Telehealth organizations. • Valid driver’s license in good standing. • Willingness to travel up to 50–60% nationally. • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Strong understanding of contracting, pricing, and reimbursement for specialty pharmaceuticals, including physician-administered therapies and hospital billing. • Deep knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill distribution models. • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and adapt strategies accordingly. • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and dynamic environments. • High ethical standards and commitment to compliance. • Demonstrated passion and empathy for improving Addiction/Mental Health patient care Benefits:
