Engineering Project Manager (Design) – Data Centers & Critical Facilities Location: Remote (travel required) Travel: Typically 1–2×/month for 2–3 days (Tues–Thurs) Project Types: Data Center projects of every size. This person may handle anything from a few branch circuits on a mega-campus to elements of the largest data center projects in the world. Position Overview: We are currently looking for a Project Manager with data center project experience to a fast-growing team. This role will: • Assist in the development and management of various projects and their strategic plans • Act as engineering design Project Manager with primary responsibility for all phases of multiple projects • Coordinate all design related activities necessary to meet the goals and needs of the client. • Manage overall design execution through construction administration • Collaborate with the Architect, Contractor, Data Center Operations and other project team members to meet the project design objectives. • Contribute to business processes related to design contracts. • Manage overall project budget and schedule. Qualifications • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a closely related field. • 5+ years of design engineering project management experience in the data center market projects is required. • 5+ years of design engineering experience, in addition to project management experience. • Proficiency in ACC, Procore, or similar technology is preferred. • Firm knowledge and understanding of all phases of work from architectural/engineering construction drawings and specifications, through construction and through commissioning. • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as business presentation skills. • The ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff across organizational lines, including other client business units. • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
