Full Description

BGCSM is seeking a visionary and results-driven Club Executive Director to lead operations across a BGCSM club. The ideal candidate will be a transformational leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong community ties. This individual will oversee daily operations, build strategic relationships, ensure financial health, and deliver a best-in-class youth experience while actively contributing to BGCSM’s broader mission of placemaking and economic mobility. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Club Operations • Oversee daily administrative duties and club management. • Serve as the lead community connector and place-making champion in the Club’s neighborhood. • Foster a culture rooted in safety, inclusion, and youth-empowerment. • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of safety incidents and compliance with BGCSM’s Culture of Safety standards. Youth & Family Engagement • Build authentic, supportive relationships with youth members and families. • Develop strong communication channels with parents and guardians to support youth development outcomes. • Design programs that reflect youth needs and community priorities. Staff & Volunteer Development • Recruit, train, supervise, and retain Club staff and volunteers. • Promote professional development and a member-focused team culture. • Ensure effective use of technology platforms for program tracking, communications, and operations. Fiscal & Resource Management • Create and approve purchase requests aligned with Club priorities. • Develop and manage the Club’s annual operating budget. • Identify and implement earned revenue opportunities (e.g., rentals, paid programs). • Oversee facilities management to maintain safe and welcoming environments. Grant Management • In partnership with the Resource Development department- identify, write, and manage grants to support Club operations and innovation. • Manage and provide data/metrics as needed to support grant reporting requirements. Strategic Planning • Develop and implement local strategic plans aligned with BGCSM’s overall goals. • Track progress and lead the team to achievement of defined goals. Community & Partnership Building • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with local businesses, civic leaders, schools, and other youth-serving organizations. • Serve as the public representative and advocate for their Club, delivering tours and presentations that highlight the Club’s role within the broader BGCSM strategy • Represent BGCSM in local coalitions and community planning efforts. • Lead efforts in placemaking, economic mobility, and community development within the Club’s service area. Evaluation & Impact • Implement program evaluation tools and use data to drive improvements. • Lead collection of data from Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process, applying data to strive for excellence. • Monitor Club performance against strategic KPIs and youth outcomes. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience. • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in youth development, nonprofit management, or a related field. • Experience managing staff and operations across multiple locations. • Exceptional communicator with strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills. • Deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to the long-term success of youth and families.
