Overview We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager and Content Creator to join our Community Action Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and drive audience engagement across various platforms. You will utilize your expertise in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing to create compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience. Responsibilities • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. • Create high-quality content across multiple formats including graphics, videos, and written posts tailored for various social media platforms. • Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite to schedule posts, analyze performance metrics, and optimize content strategy. • Conduct SEO and keyword research to enhance visibility and reach of social media content. • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and audience sentiment through social listening techniques. • Collaborate with the maanagement team to align social media efforts with overall branding and e-commerce initiatives. • Manage relationships with influencers and partners to amplify brand messaging. • Analyze web analytics using Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. • Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines before publication. • Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, public relations, and social media best practices. Requirements • Proven experience in social media management and content creation with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; video editing skills are a plus. • Strong understanding of social media marketing principles including Facebook Advertising strategies. • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing tactics is preferred. • Experience in public relations or branding initiatives is advantageous. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from web analytics tools effectively. • Exceptional proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail in all written communications. • A passion for photography is a plus; ability to create visually appealing content that aligns with brand aesthetics.
