Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Loan Processor to manage complex construction-to-permanent mortgage transactions from application through closing and funding. This role requires strong construction lending expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with borrowers, builders, loan officers, underwriters, and internal operations teams. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage the moving parts of a more complex loan structure. Key Responsibilities • Manage an active pipeline of construction-to-permanent loans, ensuring consistent progress and milestone completion. • Prepare and submit complete, investor-compliant credit packages for underwriting. • Review construction budgets, builder documentation, and project approvals for accuracy and completeness. • Serve as the primary operational liaison between borrowers, builders, loan officers, underwriters, and closing teams. • Ensure accuracy of data entered into the Loan Origination System (LOS). • Order and track title, insurance, and third-party documentation. • Identify and proactively resolve issues that may impact approval or closing timelines. • Maintain compliance with investor guidelines and regulatory requirements. Qualifications • Minimum 3+ years of mortgage processing experience required. • At least 2+ years of construction-to-permanent processing experience strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of construction budgets, builder documentation, and investor guidelines. • Experience managing complex, multi-party transactions. • Proficiency with mortgage LOS systems. • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
