Organization Description Boston Israel Innovation Group (BIIG) fosters community between two top innovation hubs: Boston and Israel. BIIG aims to drive stronger collaboration between these two communities, enhancing opportunities for Israelis to connect in Boston. This includes connections at universities, cultural centers, and existing community organizations and leaders. Role Description This is a full-time, remote, role for a Founding Executive Director, located in Boston, MA. The Founding Executive Director (FED) will oversee BIIG's operations, develop strategic partnerships, and lead initiatives to connect Israeli innovators with Boston's ecosystem. Responsibilities include organizing events, managing community outreach, securing funding, and collaborating with universities, cultural centers, and other organizations in Boston and Israel. Qualifications • Leadership and governance experience, ideally in a non-profit organization • Strategic planning, program design, and partnership development skills • Strong community outreach and engagement skills, ideally with proven experience activating volunteers • Fundraising, donor engagement and financial management abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Connections with Boston and Israeli universities, businesses, communities, and cultural centers • Knowledge of the Boston and Israel technology and innovation ecosystems
