Job Description The Manager, Financial Reporting & Cash Services reports to the Associate Controller, Financial Reporting & Accounting and is primarily responsible for researching, designing, and preparing financial analyses and reports relating to the financial position of the University. This individual will coordinate and plan the interim and year-end fiscal audits, working directly with applicable departments throughout the University, and external auditors. This position also prepares external reporting and surveys and participates in the University’s quarterly operating forecast. Additionally, this individual also leads the Cash Services function, is responsible for agency fund management, assists the Capital Asset Administration team, and oversees two direct reports. Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $99,700 to $124,600; salary commensurate with relevant experience. Requirements This position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA and MBA, preferred. Five plus years of business/accounting experience with a major university or public accounting firm and proven supervisory experience, essential. Strong working knowledge and expertise in financial accounting standards and reporting requirements; experience with PeopleSoft financial systems preferred.
