Job Summary: Pediatric Residency Program Coordinator Seeking a Pediatric Residency Program Coordinator to join BCHP in Valhalla, NY. Pay rate $25/hr-$30/hr, negotiable based on experience. This position will be approx. 30 hours per week. The Program Coordinator, under the direction and supervision of the Program Director, is responsible for assisting in the day-to day and long-term management of all educational and program activities. The Program Coordinator provides administrative support to Program Leadership (Program Director, Associate/Assistant Program Directors, Chief Residents). In addition, the Program Coordinator acts as a liaison between attending physician faculty, residents, medical students and the Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) to provide an optimal educational experience for trainees in an excellent clinical learning environment.The Pediatric Residency Training Program at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital (MFCH) is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Our program contains 63 physicians-in-training, who each work in our children's hospital and its associated faculty practices for three years to become board-certified pediatricians. MFCH is part of Westchester Medical Center, a large, multispecialty academic hospital located on a beautiful campus in Valhalla, NY, which also is home to New York Medical College, our affiliated medical school Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure program compliance with established GME policies and procedures Distribute, monitor and ensure completion of monthly evaluation forms for faculty to evaluate trainees and for trainees to evaluate faculty, other trainees and their rotations; report summarized results of evaluation data. Compile and submit reports to ACGME, American Board of Pediatrics, American Association of Medical Colleges and other professional organizations as required Maintain confidential resident files Assist with resident reimbursements for attendance at national conferences. Attend and maintain minutes for program meetings Provide reports as requested for program leadership Prepare check requests and deposits Coordinate semiannual review of resident evaluations Coordinate and proctor the annual in-training examination Provide post-graduate residency training verifications Coordinate all aspects of the recruitment effort with responsibility for managing the online application and scheduling platform, corresponding with applicants, facilitating the interview process, and hosting the virtual interview day Coordinate the appointments of new residents, reappointments of current residents, and termination of graduating residents and oversee all credentialing requirements for appointment of new and in-rotating residents Review and approve residents' timecards for payroll processing Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant administrative experience. GME experience is preferred.
