This role will be with the Bosch eBike Systems group, the current market leader for pedal-assist electric bike (eBike) drivetrain components in Europe, is growing quickly in North America as more bicycle dealers sell eBikes "epowered by Bosch." Job Description This role will act as the primary point of contact for the educational and technical support needs of the Pacific Northwest market’s retailers. This position provides ongoing education and technical support for dealers on an annual cadence while also supporting their promotional activities, local brand partners, industry events, marketing opportunities, and other related events and opportunities. Supporting, developing, expanding, and continually improving the customer service landscape in your defined geographic region is foundational to success. Responsibilities: Provide foundational retail education on Bosch eBike Systems to bicycles retailers in a defined market space Organize and execute an annual training cycle to certify qualified retailers and individuals to improve retail and rider experiences with Bosch’s systems Responsible to provide on-going technical support and troubleshooting as needed to retailers Drive retailer engagement with on-line tools and education opportunities Support, develop, expand and improve the customer service concept (e.g. hotline support, training concept) for the Bosch eBike System, taking into account customer service requirements specific to the North American market Relay information proactively and as requested to broader Bosch eBike team on retail expectations and landscape, service trends and challenges, competitors’ actions and opportunities, regulations and advocacy, etc. Travel expectation: 70% travel within the region Qualifications Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 3 years' experience in the bicycle industry and/or experience as a bicycle mechanic. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in relevant area such as Engineering, Product, etc. MS Office experience including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel Mechanical degree from UBI or BBI is a plus Strong group presentation and communication skills (verbal and written) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues Additional Information The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-$90,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
