TITLE: System Project Lead DUTIES: We seek a System Project Lead based out of our office at 3800 Automation Avenue, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work from the aforementioned address and from home. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned address. Note, this position requires domestic travel, as needed, up to 10%. The System Project Lead (SYPL) is responsible for all aspects of a technical project including integration, planning, technical oversight and execution for specific project or product family within Systems Engineering to meet and exceed customer requirements. The SYPL will be the main technical interface with customers and will lead a global project team developing concept through production. Job duties include: Lead global project team to execute projects within the Systems Engineering. Lead reviews of the system requirements, architecture, and integration. Break down system specifications into sub-system requirements. Responsible for Hardware and Controls Software integration. Provide primary customer interface and technical negotiations regarding product. Propose project resource requirements and manage actual against approved cost. Help monitoring product reliability and warranty. Conduct issue root cause analysis. Create product engineering specific timing plans and track and report progress. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering and 96 months of experience in job offered or related in Systems engineering. Required experience must include: Experience in propulsion system power electronics, motors, hardware and controls development, integration and execution; Experience with Polarion; Experience with electric drive systems and power electronics; Experience in complex systems with mechatronics and electrical machines; Experience in ASPICE, functional safety, and cyber security standards.
